Since I have seen other sites with the name Awesome God somewhere in them, I decided to extend the name of this blog to match the name of my upcoming book, "Acts of an Awesome God."

Vision Story Continues Wednesday

Last Wednesday I shared the first half of an incredible Open Vision I had many years ago which I subtitled, Damascus Road Experience, just one of many stories in my upcoming book            
"Acts of an Awesome God." Just wanted everyone to know that I will be posting the second half of that story this Wednesday, Nov. 2nd. Welcome to World Wide viewers

I noticed I have some international viewers (Ireland, Germany, Russia and Brunei) and I would like to formally welcome you to my blog. I am sharing my incredible supernatural stories so that many will come to know God and the Lord Jesus Christ either for the first time or at least in a much deeper way. I am persuaded my message is for people everywhere. We know people from all cultures will be among those who make it to heaven because of these words found in  Revelation 7:9 - 

"After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and holding palm branches in their hands."

There you are. All of you, all around the world are cordially invited to follow my blogs. You will be taking a journey into a realm where anything is possible and where God still speaks to those who call out to Him with a sincere and humble heart. Open Vision

This latest excerpt from my upcoming book, "Acts of an Awesome God" resumes where I left off on last week's post. Enjoy -

                                           Damascus  Road  Experience

  I had been sitting on my jail bunk, doing my daily scripture reading. I gently slid the Bible aside and stood up. I turned toward the cement wall and peered out through the gray, steel bars of my cell window.

   The jail was located on the top floor of an old four-story courthouse so I was provided with a relatively unobstructed view of the city below. It was just past noon and, though it was a cold winter's day, the sky was clear except for two small white clouds that floated lazily along in the bright blue sky. As I stood there looking at those small clouds, I spoke from my heart these simple, yet sincere words:

 “Now God, I believe you’re real. I don’t have any problem with that. But what I want to know is if you’re still in awesome, supernatural power like you was in the days of the apostles. Now if I’m being like the heathen who seek after a sign (Matt. 12:38-39) then I ask you to forgive me because I’m ignorant and don’t know any better. Thank you God. Amen.”

   After I prayed, I just stood there watching those two tiny clouds slowly drifting along. It couldn't have been more than 30 seconds since I finished that brief prayer when a very large, bright light suddenly appeared to the lower right side of my peripheral vision.

   It lasted only a moment and it was gone. I glanced down in the direction from where I thought the light had shone. It seemed to have come from directly in front of a tall stained glass cross which was slightly recessed in a wall of a large Methodist Church located one block to the north of the court house.

God Has a Plan For You

FYI - God loves you and He has a marvelous plan for the rest of your life. It doesn't matter what you've done or where you're at. He's not through with you yet, so whatever you do... don't give up and don't give in.

Now -

   I wanted to remind all of you that I'll be publishing another Awesome Act of God this
Wednesday evening (Oct. 26th).
   I need to warn you - these stories could shake up your theology! But they will also certainly strengthen your faith. If you're up to the challenge then I welcome you aboard this exciting journey.
   I admit the stories you will read are quite amazing, and if they didn't happen to me I might be inclined to question them myself.
   One thing for sure, you're about to enter an incredible realm where miracles and God's tangible
presence are common place and after you read these accounts you will never, ever be the same.

Wednesday Night Weekly blogs

Thanks for viewing my blog today "Awesome God" where I shared the story about my
God-inspired dream  entitled "Vision of the Night."Since I had such a large number of
views, I've decided it's time to start posting every Wednesday night and share even more
dramatic events that have occurred throughout my life. I promise you will be encouraged,
amazed, inspired, comforted and receive some incredible insight into the mind and heart

Night Vision

I've had so many supernatural experiences over the last 40 years and I feel God is finally releasing me to share them with everyone. One of the ways I'll be doing this is through writing books. Below you'll find an excerpt from an early chapter in my very first book tentatively titled,
                                            "Acts of an Awesome God."

                                        Vision  of  the  Night

   "I continued my personal quest for a deeper knowledge of God, then one night I had 

a very unusual dream. I saw myself standing on a rocky, barren hill. The sky was grey 

and overcast. Some distance away from me I saw another barren hill, strewn with what 

appeared to be ruins of ancient Roman buildings. 

   

   At the top of the hill, just above the ruins, was a man sitting on a white horse. He had 

a dark beard and long hair, wore a white robe and gripped the handle of a sword in his 

right hand.

   As I gazed at him he suddenly reared straight up on the horse, thrust the sword high 

into the air and yelled out, 'Excelsior!' The sound of that word echoed across the deep 

chasm that separated us.

   When I awoke I just knew the dream had a special meaning. I looked up the word 

"excelsior" in the dictionary and, to my surprise, found it was of Latin origin 

(Latin was the language of the Romans, which would explain the Roman ruins I saw) 

and it meant 'higher.'

   I was confident this was a message from God and that He was telling me to keep 

reaching higher in my search to know Him better.

   The only God I had come to know over the years was what I refer to as a 'watered-down' 

version. He was still holy and divine all right, yet, from what I had been taught He had 

ceased to move anymore in the supernatural and miraculous.

   But, I thought, what kind of a God is that? After all, moving in the supernatural is what 

makes Him a God. So why, and when, did He stop performing miracles? Something deep 

within me just couldn’t accept the concept of a powerless God. Finally, one day I reached 

the point where I simply had to know the truth.

   I have to admit, I was not prepared for what was about to happen next."

Your Name Could Appear

I've had the distinct joy of sharing many supernatural experiences with numerous close friends over the years in several different states. As I begin to recount these experiences on my blog, Awesome God,  don't be surprised if your name comes up somewhere along the way. You'll probably say, "Wow, I had forgotten about that!"  Check in regular to see if your name or the name of someone you know pops up. God Bless and I hope your Monday is a very happy and healthy one. Don't forget to send in any prayer requests you might have. I have seen God give some incredible responses to a heartfelt and humble prayer.

Awesome God greeting

Good evening friends -

My blog  is called "Awesome God" because it focuses on the numerous incredible, but true, supernatural experiences I've had in my walk with God over the last 40 years. In the months ahead I will be recounting a long list of remarkable events from angelic visitations to demonic encounters to miraculous healing to special favor to astounding provision to divine appointments to extraordinary displays of God's power and presence to amazing answers to prayer to revelations of His boundless love.
